Before fixing the Microsoft
Windows blue screen or BSoD error you should first know about it as there are
various types of blue screen errors. This error message never clears why it is
coming. If you are getting BSoD error then follow the steps below to boot your
computer into Safe Mode.
- In Windows Start menu or from Desktop right click on My Computer or Computer.
- Now simply click on Properties option.
- From the System Properties window hit on Advanced tab or Advanced system settings link.
- On Advanced tab, hit on Settings button in Startup and Recovery section.
- From Startup and Recovery window, uncheck Automatically restart check box.
- Now hit on Ok.
Resolve Blue screen errors
Identify the issue:
Find out if you made
any changes. The main reason behind the Blue Screen error is the recent change
done in your computer’s settings or hardware. It is often related to the new
drivers that is installed or updated. Drivers are the software while allow the hardware
to correspond with Windows.
Determine your
computer’s internal hardware:
Sometime the poor
connection in your computer can lead to Blue Screen error. So open the case and
make sure that all the cables are connected. It is more difficult in laptops. You can even check the hard drive and RAM to ensure
that it is connected properly. Remove the panel from the back which covers the hard
drive and RAM by using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Check your computer’s
temperature:
Overheating can also cause
the hardware malfunctioning. The main component to overheat is the graphics
card and the second culprit is the CPU. You can check the temperatures in BIOS menus
to from Windows software.
Test your RAM:

The most common culprit
behind the system crash is the bad stick of RAM. When RAM fails it make the
system unstable. You can test your RAM by any tool.
